“Yoga is not just repetition of few postures – it is more about the exploration and discovery of the subtle energies of life.” – Amit Ray

My Journey

Meredith was a competitive, National figure skater for 14 years and started doing yoga as a mainly physical practice. After her studies and some self-discovery, she has learned to embrace yoga not only for the physical benefits, but also for the emotional and spiritual benefits it provides.

Yoga has taught her that we provide our own true happiness, the power of stillness, the importance of letting go, to be gentle with oneself, to be accepting of yourself and your body, and most importantly-that we are all here for a reason.

Yoga Experience

Meredith started teaching yoga in several studios, including a mental health facility. Upon moving to the Outer Banks, she fell in love with combining her passion for yoga and the water and started her own venture of Paddle Board Yoga in 2015. However, she also offers private in-home and mountain yoga sessions/meditation.

She offers a wide variety of classes from vinyasa flow to gentle/restorative to meditation. She loves to teach foundational Hatha yoga, following a structure that provides proper chakra flow.
